Just a quick note to let you know how much my wife and I love our new pavers. It’s like we moved into a new home. We could not be happier with the quality of work and the detail that you and your crew paid attention to before, during and after the work.
It’s interesting how we came about getting our new pavers. A very large, it not the largest paver company was knocking door to door in our neighborhood trying to sell their service. We have been wanting to get pavers for years because our concrete had developed a lot of cracks that were getting larger and larger, so we took advantage of the opportunity to get a quote from them. We thought it was on the high side so we went ahead and got a few more quotes. Bleu Stone Paving was not the cheapest, but I felt the most comfortable with you because of the detail you went into. You discussed how you would maintain drainage all the way around the house. You also talked about the sprinkler system and how you would modify routing. You also talked about providing stub-outs of gas and power for future use for possibly a fire pit. You suggested a few things we did not think of like a narrow walkway around the sunroom. And best of all, no problem with minor modifications. My wife wanted a few things changed. I felt hesitant to say anything, but when I did, boom… it was done. What I liked most of all… no sales job. You came and measured and quoted and did not do anything like “If you sign up now, I’ll knock off 50 percent” which we have heard before and generally kick them out at that point. One last funny thing to demonstrate the willingness to do whatever… I mentioned to one of the crew that a Bougainvillea should probably be removed because it protruded out into a walkway, not intending for it to be removed at that moment. I turned around and it was gone. It made me laugh. I did need to explain to my wife what happened and all is good.
Anyway, thanks for all the hard work and the beautiful pavers. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Stone Paving to anyone who asked.

We had a new patio deck installed by Bleu Stone Paving on March 24, 2010. From the beginning to the end of this project I want to say how pleased I was with the prompt service given by Service Magic in recommending contractors, and the performance of Bleu Stone Paving. There was positive communication between me and their representative and following my HOA approval Bleu stone was able to install the pavers within the week, and in one day. The patio is beautiful and I know I shall enjoy it for a long time. Interlocking pavers are the perfect solution for a deck located at the top of a slope and given to ground movement.

Blue Stone Paving is gets an A+ from start to finish! When doing a small remodel project in our back yard, we had decided to expand a portion of our patio. A colleague had used Blue Stone, and he gave them outstanding marks for quality and price. We were so impressed with the recommendations our representative made, but were afraid we couldn’t afford the cost of pavers. In reality, we were able to afford pavers (we chose a flagstone look); the cost was LESS than concrete! The installation was exactly as promised; the crew kept the job site tidy from start to finish. After the job was done, the owner stopped by to see how we liked the work and if there was anything remaining to be done. Can you imagine? A full year later (and after these incredible rains), our project is better than new.

In behalf of my wife and myself, I want to thank you and the members of your staff for the excellent job you did on the installation of the pavers on our driveway.
I was impressed from the very start with your prompt response to my request for a proposal. I received it in a timely manner and it very clearly identified the products, process, and service that I could expect from your company.
Despite the fact that the old concrete driveway was much thicker than anticipated, your guys removed it quickly and without any discussion of an up-charge. Frankly, I had no idea that it was nearly double the thickness of a normal driveway and a bit puzzled that even though it was so thick, that it was so badly cracked.
We had some other work being done at our home and my wife was pretty frustrated with the poor response and performance that we experienced with the other contractors. When the driveway was completed she told me “I wish all of the other contractors were as good as Bleu Stone!” She appreciated the fact that the crew was courteous and left the jobsite very clean at the end of each day.
It rained a couple of days after the installation and I noted that there was a minor “bird bath” at one edge where the water was not flowing into the drain. Within a day, your foreman was back out to our home to make a minor adjustment that permitted the water to drain properly.
We are completely satisfied with all aspects of your performance and would not hesitate to recommend Bleu Stone Paving to others.
