My wife and I are extremely happy with the ashlar patterned paving stones installed by your company.  I'm still in shock that there is a "California Contractor" who actually delivered exactly what they said they would, and on time!!  Your guys were in and out within 4 days, painlessly.  I have to tell you, I was appalled at the methods used by your paving competitors to try and get my business.  Creative input is appreciated, but I don't like to be pressured into purchasing something that I have to settle for, or don't want. One company even came out and wouldn't quote me until I scheduled another appointment so he could meet with my wife - what a waste of a day on their "system" of selling pavers.  When anyone asks about my yard, here's what I tell them about you:

  * Your salesman came out, IN THE RAIN, when nobody else would.
  * The owner is on-site for the start and finish of the job.
  *  You started and ended the job on time, with no sneaky cost increases.
  * After updating our home's profile on Zillow.com, our home value went up 7%!

Thank you for giving us our backyard back, and an excellent experience that we ARE NOT hesitating to share with everyone!

After carefully researching the available types of materials to replace our then existing concrete patio we settled on pavers. We solicited bids from a number of contractors _ ~ _     eventually settling on two for full consideration.   Both had lists of references to check, but only Bleu Stone's seemed to be relatively nearby and available for viewing.

When the final bids came back for identical work to be performed, Bleu Stone's bid was significantly lower than its competitor's. Bleu Stone delivered on time, on budget, and performed wonderfully ... unlike most other contractors we have retained from time-to-time to do work at our home.  A wonderful experience!

Work to be performed included rebuilding the rear patio, preserving existing gas and water lines and adding additional water lines. The patio was to be increased by about 15%, a new 3/4 inch water line brought around from the front of the home and through the patio area and tied it into existing and new water lines. (With the contract we provided a typed three-page list of specific items we wanted included in the work and how we wanted them done ... and they were all completed to our satisfaction.) Work began in a timely manner and was completed within three days. The workers were diligent and were well supervised at all times. They checked with us every step of the way, to be sure their work met with our specifications. There was no damage to any of our existing structures even though the workers had to repeatedly remove old materials and bring in new materials via a wheelbarrow through a narrow vinyl gate and fence. They completed all work as requested. Clean-up was complete and timely and no damage was caused to the home or the patio cover.

On behalf of my wife and myself, I want to thank you and the members of your staff for the excellent job you did on the installation of the pavers on our driveway. I was impressed from the very start with your prompt response to my request for a proposal. I received it in a timely manner and it very clearly identified the products, process and service that I could expect from your company.

Despite the fact that the old concrete driveway was much thicker than anticipated, your guys removed it quickly and without any discussion of an up-charge. Frankly, I had no idea that it was nearly double the thickness of a normal driveway and a bit puzzled that even though it was so thick, that it was so badly cracked. We had some other work being done at our home and my wife was pretty frustrated with the poor response and performance that we experienced with the other contractors.

When the driveway was completed she told me “I wish all of the other contractors were as good as Bleu Stone!” She appreciated the fact that the guys were courteous and left the jobsite very clean at the end of each day. It rained a couple of days after the installation and I noted that there was a minor “bird bath” at one edge where the water was not flowing into the drain. Within a day, your foreman was back out to our home to make a minor adjustment that permitted the water to drain properly. We are completely satisfied with all aspects of your performance and would not hesitate to recommend Bleu Stone Paving to others.

Bleu Stone Paving is gets an A+ from start to finish! When doing a small remodel project in our back yard, we had decided to expand a portion of our patio. A colleague had used Bleu Stone, and he gave them outstanding marks for quality and price. We were so impressed with the recommendations our representative made, but were afraid we couldn’t afford the cost of pavers. In reality, we were able to afford pavers (we chose a flagstone look); the cost was LESS than concrete! The installation was exactly as promised; the job site was kept tidy from start to finish.
